About the role
Build Miror's assistant - agents, workflows, retrieval, and escalation logic. Translate compliance partners' processes into product without a spec. Judge what LLMs can and can't do reliably and design around it. Integrate with Indian business tools: accounting, WhatsApp, documents, spreadsheets.
What you’ll do
- Build agent workflows, tool calling, retrieval and escalation logic
- Work directly with compliance partners to turn their workflows into automation
- Own features end to end - design, build, ship, fix

Enterprise Infrastructure / DevOps · 1000+ employees
The role
Half engineering, half forward-deployed.
You'll build Miror's assistant - agents, workflows, retrieval, and the logic that decides when a human needs to step in.
You'll also sit with our compliance partners - CAs, lawyers, company secretaries and turn how they actually work into product. They won't hand you a spec. They'll describe their process in their language. Translating that is the job.
If you want a defined scope and a ticket queue, this isn't it.
What you'll do
- Build agent workflows, tool calling, retrieval and escalation logic
- Work directly with compliance partners to turn their workflows into automation
- Own features end to end - design, build, ship, fix
- Judge what LLMs can and can't do reliably, and design around it
Integrate with what Indian businesses actually run on: accounting tools, WhatsApp, documents, spreadsheets
You should have
- 1+ years of professional engineering experience
- Strong Python
- Shipped something real with LLMs - agents, tool calling, RAG or workflow automation
- The ability to explain tradeoffs to non-technical people, and to ask good questions before coding
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward shipping
- Bangalore, or willing to relocate
Bonus: finance, accounting or compliance exposure · early-stage startup or founding-engineer experience · client-facing work · good GitHub projects
Process
15-min intro call → A working session describing a real workflow → Founders' conversation on scope and equity.
