About the role

What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that power the AI hiring platform, ensuring they are independently deployable and handle growing traffic.
- Work with AI teams to integrate machine learning and LLM-based features into the production platform, handling API calls, prompt management, and response processing.
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested code following best practices with proper unit and integration test coverage.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries, implement caching, and ensure system reliability as user base grows.
- Set up and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using cloud platforms and containerization for reliable software delivery.
- Work with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions and ship features.
- Contribute to system design discussions, review architectural decisions, and help evolve the platform's technical architecture as it scales.

- First 30 days
- Set up local development environment and run the codebase independently; Understand the platform architecture and key microservices; Ship first bug fix or small improvement with test coverage
- First 60 days
- Independently build and deploy a small API feature end-to-end; Write well-tested code that passes code review on first submission; Participate constructively in architecture and design discussions
- First 90 days
- Own a microservice or API domain end-to-end with production responsibility; Integrate an LLM-based feature into the platform with proper error handling; Identify and resolve a performance bottleneck in the system

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our core product team and help us build scalable, intelligent systems that power our AI recruitment engine. You’ll work on real problems — from automating candidate evaluation to building AI-driven matching pipelines — while contributing to a modern, high-performance product stack.
Key responsibilities
-Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices for our AI hiring platform.
-Work closely with product and AI teams to integrate ML/LLM-based features into production.
-Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
-Optimize system performance and reliability as our user base grows rapidly.
-Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and feature planning.
-Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, data scientists, and backend engineers.
What You’ll Need
-0–3 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
-Strong command of Python, Node.js, or Go (Python preferred).
-Experience with RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and Docker.
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
-Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
-Bonus: exposure to AI/ML models, FastAPI, or LangChain.
