We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI-powered platforms. This role requires hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, along with the ability to test data-driven applications, APIs, web platforms, and complex business workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues early, improve test coverage, and support the delivery of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define appropriate test scenarios.
- Design, document, and execute test cases for AI-enabled and data-driven products.
- Perform manual and automated testing across web applications, APIs, and data workflows.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using suitable testing frameworks.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Validate applications involving large datasets, complex workflows, and business rules.
- Perform API testing and verify request and response data, validations, error handling, and system integrations.
- Test data pipelines, analytics workflows, dashboards, and data-driven application features.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
- Work closely with developers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Execute automated test suites and prepare clear and actionable test reports.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities.
- Contribute to improving test processes, automation coverage, documentation, and quality reporting.
- Support the automation of testing, monitoring, and reporting workflows.
- Ensure that releases meet defined quality standards and business requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Experience with automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect life cycles.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
- Ability to create and maintain test cases, test data, test suites, and automation scripts.
- Experience validating applications involving datasets, complex workflows, and business logic.
- Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to validate data at the database level.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with defect-tracking and test-management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python-based test automation using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and Pytest, with the ability to design, develop, debug, and maintain scalable UI and functional automation frameworks.
- Experience working with AI-enabled, analytics, or data-centric products.
- Exposure to testing machine learning outputs, data pipelines, or analytics workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating automated tests into build and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing.
- Experience with test reporting dashboards and quality metrics.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences domain.
